Manufacturing Space Turned Workshop
A former manufacturing space was adapted to an arts workshop, gallery, and store. The steel was painted yellow, while other surfaces were left alone. The design is open, inviting, and interactive. Since opening in late 2011, it has transformed its Eastern Market street with a range of activities and collaborations with other cultural organizations.
Signal-Return connects the community to letterpress printing by celebrating creative expression, craftsmanship, and art education.
